  1. Not impressed with your racist remark
  2. Ca fait vingt ans que j'habite dans l'ouest de l'ile et je suis tres en accord avec SkahHigh. C'est absolutement essentiel que le "Train de l'Ouest" se rend au Terminus Fairview.
  3. Update for this one: Phase 3 is 100% sold Phase 4 is 80% sold Phase 5 (12 floors) will be going on sale shortly (will be located right beside phase 4). There will also be a phase of rental appartments (I guess it could be considered phase 7) built at the corner of Jean-Talon and Mountain Sights (which is why they moved the sales office). Here's what I think the whole project will end up looking like (with a grocery store in the RDC of phase 8):

    Le Namur (2017)

That land is owned by Canvar so the Namur project will not be built there. They moved the sales office because this is where they intend to build the next phase of their Condos Vue project (which, as you said, will most likely be appartments instead of condos). One of the phases that has to yet to be built (there are supposed to be 7/8 in total) is also supposed to have a grocery store on the RDC (I'm guessing it will be the building that is built parallel to Jean-Talon).
  5. Some info from a reliable source: The developer is 100% Canvar As was already mentioned, it will be a 38-40 storey tower of hotel + appartments The hotel will be a division of the Marriott, boutique-style That's all I've got! I can't believe we're getting another 120m tower out of nowhere
  6. The sidewalks on RL are going to need a serious upgrade from Guy to Peel!
  7. Panorama taken this morning. Sorry for the bad quality, it's a cold one!
  8. Picture from jspetit on SSP
  9. It appears that they will be pouring the 7th floor shortly. Anyone want to place a friendly bet (value $0) on what floor they will be at when construction on the second start restarts? I'm going to say 36.
  10. Looks like it will be connected to the Bell Centre at the 3rd/4th floor. Can anyone confirm?
  11. A couple of night shots... mes excuses pour la mauvaise qualité des photos
  12. They aren't digging to pour a foundation that's for sure. Probably a soil test or decontamination. They will 100% need a retaining wall when the real digging starts
  13. E-mail notification regarding the grand opening: Save the Date! We are thrilled to invite you to the CIELO CONDOS Grand Opening Cocktail Event! We look forward to sharing a champagne toast and refreshments with all of our VIPs! You will have the chance to meet our professional partners for this project and reserve your choice condo! ~ Where: Cielo Condos Showroom 14407 Aumais Street Pierrefonds, QC H9H 1B2 When: Friday, October 24 4 to 7 pm
  14. Apparently there was some digging going on today on the proposed hotel site (according to Djesus777 on SSP). Can anyone confirm?
  15. I hope the promoters at Babylone use this as incentive to start digging as well!!
  16. http://www.montrealgazette.com/business/Saputo+cent+stake+Life+building+reports/10195809/story.html Ivanhoe Cambridge, the real-estate arm of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, apparently has found a buyer for the 50 per cent stake in the Sun Life building that it put on the market earlier this year. Published reports Thursday identified the buyers as Montreal’s Saputo family and partners, and the transaction price at $140 million. The Caisse’s real-estate division reportedly acquired its stake for $64 million. Ivanhoe Cambridge has shared ownership of the Metcalfe St. building with insurer Sun Life since 2000. © Copyright © The Montreal Gazette
