I can’t wait to see them start being installed on the Metro. No news from Craig Sauvé recently on the Orange line retro project, so I wonder if we’ll see them first on the Blue extension...

On peut maintenant voir les portes pallières installées.

1 porte pallière d'installée; il y en reste 11 sur le quai "direction Montréal" et 12 du côté "direction Brossard". 

Lorsque je suis passé (vers 15h45), le wagon transportant le lot de portes avaient déjà quitté. J'ai malheureusement manqué le "petit train" pour le prendre en photo...

According to the PQI 2020-2030, phase 1 of that project is now in the planning stage (it was in the study stage up until last year). The STM will create a detailed plan with a business case to support the project, and the Conseil des Ministres will approve that plan. After that it will move to the construction phase! 

It's also unclear if they will be installed on the blue line, because so far the STM seems to want to install them only in major stations.

À ce rythme-là, les portes-palières seront toutes posées (sur les quais de chaque direction) d'ici la fin de semaine...

En effet. Ça progressait vite de ce côté, lorsque je suis passé vendredi dernier...  Toutefois, je ne suis pas inquiet que l'on pourra admirer les travaux de la station l'esprit tranquille (avec un bon popcorn ! ).

Il me semble que l'on prévoit faire rouler encore des MR-73 sur la ligne bleue non ? Donc ça empêcherait leur installation.

Yes, from what we can tell at this stage it will begin with only the busiest section of the Orange, from Jarry to LL. The Blue extension will be built to accommodate the doors but they wouldn’t be installed until all train sets on the line are MPM-10 (20 more years?). Green and Yellow will only be planned after the MR-73 are retired.

Après une petite pause de 2 jours, le Shuttlewagon a enfin repris du service.

On était rendu à 7 portes pallières installées à Du Quartier, ce jeudi midi.  Je doute que l'ensemble des portes seront posées d'ici le weekend, mais il est fort probable que toutes celles "Direction Montréal" le seront.
