Another way to look at it is 800 is closer to the boulevard than 900. It is the VSLP and 900 that are equidistant from the boulevard. In the pictures above, VSLP doesn't look as tall as it should.

C'est encouragent les arbres poussent bien sur Robert Bourassa. J'ai hate de voir dans 10 ans quand ils vont prendre de la maturité ca va etre magnifique.

With the height limit it’ll be either fat and short or twin towers in order to obtain the floor space developers need.
 

 Maybe someone will come up with a 250 meter long building stretching out lengthwise over multiple lots but only 5 or 6 stories tall. Could be a cool design if there’s sufficient space somewhere that could fit such a project.
