Funny how people jump on the REM.... it was a minor breakdown, it was flawless yesterday and is working well as we speak.... 

 

Metro was down for hours last week, broke down multiple times Friday night, no warning... yet not a peep. Media bias once again.

⬆️ Metro is not new and has been breaking down for decades. This system is new, has been delayed several months for more tests and yet... So yeah, its in the news. Totally normal coverage. 

Oh, and its the ONLY transit available to go to Brossard/South Shore west. Impact is non-negligeable. In Montreal, you have many other choices than taking your metro line to go from A to B. Right?

It's the most advanced system in North America, new technology. There is no such thing as perfect, to think it would run flawlessly is unrealistic. It's been 99% reliable, which already is amazing, tell me a system in North America that is running as well? People will find anything and everything to complain about. I can tell you, many people are envious at us for having such a system.

⬆️ Who cares the envious when u are stuck on the bridge and u dont know whats going on because of the horrible CDPQi communication. Coverage does its job.

Ce REM est une vraie joke de marde. Et je ne mâche pas mes mots. Les inspecteurs doivent casser la glace dans les seuils de porte avec leurs godasses tellement que la glace pogne dans les portes. Un bon samaritain est arrivé avec un couteau pour aider. Quelle marde. Les inspecteurs jokaient "Monsieur on va vous payer". Les seuils de porte étaient pas supposé être chauffants??!? Le tableau indicateur indique prochain départ dans 1h17.. alors que c'est faux. Tout est détraqué. Ils n'étaient pas prêts. C'est maintenant clair. Les dirigeants sont des astics de BOZOS. Toute la gang. Le train roule litteralement à 10km tellement ils ont peur qu'il déraille. Ça fait pitié.

C'est la qu'on voit l'avantage des tunnels.  Ca protege des intemperies et l'equipement va durer aussi plus longtemps.
