    I agree that a good alternative is required and people have good reasons to whine because based on what we've seen with the ARMT, organisation and communication is not great... On top of this, we have Trainsparence who capitalize on that and distributes fliyers promoting the Grand Debloquage and trashing the project.... If i used that line, id' be nervous too. Consider that most people only hear the line will be shut down for 2 years and are just told "oh but don't worry, there will be alternative....". Not the best PR practice I have to say...

    Le publique est au currant, j'ai entendu parle de ces accidents du moins... qui en passant se sont déroulé avant l'adoption de ce changement. La dernière mise a jour de article de Radio-Canada ajoute beaucoup d'information d'ailleurs. Je m'explique vraiment mal pourquoi cette greve illegale et ce maintenant. Selon ce qu'on y lit, c'etait deja une pratique courante mais la pratique est maintenant encadre (i.e. augmentation des heures requise et un score de 80% de requis et en cas d’échec, le DEP est obligatoire)... votre syndicat conteste déjà ce reglement en court et vous pouvez faire une plainte a la Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail si vous jugez qu'il y a un danger eminent... ce que vous n'avez pas fait selon l'article. Bref, vous avez sorti l'ultime moyens de dernier recours sans avoir pris les moyens legaux pour un changement administratif qui pourrait très bien faire parti de vos revendications lors de votre prochaine nego. https://ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/1108623/grutiers-chantiers-syndicats-quebec-tribunal-travail

Lors de la construction de la Grande Bibliothèque en 2005, le site a été laissé vacant dans la proposition gagnante du concours d’architecture de façon à répondre aux besoins futurs de BAnQ. The company made the announcement on Thursday in a memo to the employees of its stores — including its Ottawa location in the Bayshore Shopping Centre — telling them that the stores will cease operations within the next two months. The company confirmed the news in a statement released to The Citizen. “Over the next 6 to 8 weeks we are closing our Sony Stores in Canada and will redirect all of this business through our national network of Sony retailers, our online store … as well as through our Sony-trained Telesales team,” read the statement. “Our network of Sony authorized retailers offer a full range of Sony products and will be supported by our in-store Merchandisers and Product Trainers on an ongoing basis in order to ensure that our past customers have continued access to knowledgeable Sales consultants who can support their ongoing Sony electronics needs.“ The company’s news came on the same day that Target announced it would be shuttering all of its retail stores in Canada. Sony did not say how many jobs are affected by the decision. The closure comes as Sony is struggling to reshape its business amidst years of losses. For the current fiscal year which ends in March, the company is estimating a $1.9 billion (U.S.) loss. Within the last year the company sold its Vaio personal computing business and spun out its TV manufacturing operations. It is now reported to be considering exiting the TV business entirely. The company is also considering options for its lacklustre cellular phone division.

    Oui il y a un secteur d’Hochelaga qui est extrêmement trash mais il y a également de très beaux coins, excellents restos, marché, parcs, des bijoux architecturaux… mais surtout un mix intéressant de gens. J’avais les mêmes préjugés que toi avant d’y déménager mais j’ai été agréablement surpris! Oui il y a du travail à faire dans ce quartier mais ce n’est pas seulement un ramassis de déchet de la société.
