Une note que je viens de recevoir en tant que fournisseur du Hilton Montréal Aéroport.

 

Nous désirons vous informer que la gestion du Hilton Montréal Aéroport menée par Hilton Hotels Corporation sera officiellement terminée le 22 octobre 2008. Cet hôtel n’aura donc plus d’affiliation avec la marque Hilton. Northstar Hospitality, les propriétaires actuels de cette propriété, géreront cet hôtel eux-mêmes.

 

Nous apprécions grandement notre relation avec vous et nous anticipons le plaisir de continuer à vous offrir un excellent service.

 

Ça ne dit rien d'autre comme une nouvelle affiliation ou bien un nouveau nom la seule chose que je peux voir c'est le nouveau courriel de mon contact qui est au whg.com

 

C'est quand même bizarre de recevoir ça le 2 jours avant la date de fin d'affiliation.

Ça ne me semble qu'un changement de société de gestion. Peut-être que l'hôtel gardera sa vocation, peut-être que non. Je semble comprendre que la bannière sera changée... ce que je trouve drôle puisque Hilton se retrouvera sans présence à l'aéroport pour sa marque principale. Il y a eu un développement fou d'hôtels autour de l'aéroport et le Hilton vieilli....

J'ai fait une mini-enquête mais ces informations n'ont pu être vérifiées. Le Hilton à l'aéroport se serait fait retirer sa bannière (impossibilité de rencontrer les standards minimaux ou ???, je ne sais pas). Il y a une rumeur qui dit qu'il cherche à obtenir une bannière Crowne Plaza (InterContinental Group), mais il ne répond pas encore à tous les pré-requis (rénovations ?). Désolé de ne pouvoir être plus précis.

JESTA & CANVAR BUY MONTREAL AIRPORT HOTEL

 

JESTA GROUP, a multinational owner and operator of hotel, leisure and commercial properties and GROUPE CANVAR, a hotel operator and major property developer based in Montreal, Quebec announced that they have joined forces to purchase the Montreal Airport Hotel. It was formerly known as the Hilton Montreal Airport Hotel. The purchasers intend to rebrand the Hotel under a marquee international banner, and to implement a multi-year renovation program to update and transform the hotel. The hotel, situated at 12505 Côte de Liesse in Dorval currently houses 486 guest rooms, 23 meeting rooms containing over 20,000 sf, together with a range of other facilities. ERIC AINTABI, VP of Jesta Group, stated: "We continue to expand our portfolio of properties to acquire and improve what we consider to be prime resort and leisure properties that will meet the demands of the marketplace." Wyndham Hotels and Resorts today announced the opening of the 486-room Wyndham Montréal Aéroport hotel, just minutes from Pierre Trudeau International Airport.
