L'amphithéâtre est presque complété ainsi que la façade sur le boulevard René Lévesque. Ça va être époustouflant.

Yes all ''orange'' ornements on the CHUM new buildings is copper, like the overpass over Sanguinet. All the entrance are mark with copper insert, like the one on Sanguinet and the new one behind the amphitheater. Yes it will eventually turn green and lost its beautiful shine, be since it's vertical, sometime it takes longer then just a slop roof, since there will be less water exposure. But for sure if few years it will be lot darker.

Personally I would hope that we could invent a copper treatment that don't get green, but most of the people love the copper for it's green patina.

Its real copper and will turn green. The overpass on Sanguinet after 3-4 years has already lost its shine and is now dark brown. Same will happen with this.

Cet oxydation devient une protection naturelle pour le métal. Elle garantit son étanchéité pour de nombreuses années. En plus cette couleur fait partie des caractéristiques communes de plusieurs édifices anciens et plus récents à Montréal.
