Thank you for all the research, but I am well aware of the situation and please don't try to paint me as a racist so you can take the moral high ground. I was not saying all Asians are rich, but rather that Vancouver gets more capital flowing in from Asia than Montreal because of it's geographical proximity. Many cities in NA have this phenomenon - it comes with high density non-residential projects which do not enjoy street life after six PM. If you go through "The city" in London England, one of the most populated cities in the world, after 7 PM it is desolate.

I know! I just came back from Brooklyn and the subways were pristine! Probably goes back to policy of graffiti artists who are caught have to do community service cleaning the graffiti off the trains. After this experience, gang members routinely beat up other kids they see tagging any trains. Let the punishment fit the crime (it works).
