  1. Federalists see what they want to see, Separatists see what they want to see. How can ANYONE argue this simple statement? Stop fucking arguing. I love this forum but lately, I've been avoiding reading some pages because I know all it is is Mark saying Quebec isn't doing so well, followed by MtlMan or Vaillant or ACPNC or whoever else jumping all over him and saying he's totally wrong and spreading propaganda. I'm so sick and fucking tired of it.
  2. That has got to be one of the fastest demolitions and clean ups I've ever seen.
  3. I think they might end up building them separately? I never thought they would do it that way, but it makes no sense how one side is going up and the other is still dirt. Maybe they'll approach it like they did for Altitude Phase II - start building it right next to it long after the original tower was already far along.
  4. Montreal (4th) beat out the Amalfi Coast (5th), Venice (6th) and Paris (8th). That is hella impressive.
  5. I think we have a winner here! I count about 22-23 residential floors so only 2-3 left I guess?
  6. I wrote this in the Tour des Canadiens 2 thread but I think it's worth mentioning it here. Concerning Tour des Canadiens 2: So if this source can be trusted, Tour des Canadiens is 180m? (we have it estimated at 167m)
  7. So if this source can be trusted, Tour des Canadiens is 180m?
  8. Love it! Still looks like they haven't figured it all out yet. Some facades are lit and some others aren't, depending on which night the pictures were taken.
  9. 1. New York (8.7 million) 2. Mexico City (4.6 million) 3. Montreal (1.1 million) 4. Washington DC (980k) 5. Toronto (940k)
  10. All the renders show it appearing that way though? I think it had been discussed back in the day. I love how the reflection of Tour de la Bourse in the first 10 floors lines up perfectly with the residential floors above. Very cool!
  11. It's 18:52 and on the live cam, I can see they're still working. Impressive!
  12. Never have I ever been so happy to see a building shrink, rather than grow. Muahahaha.

    Expos de Montréal

Olbermann is a huge fan of Montreal. He has a lot of respect for our sports history and sports culture so this was great to see.
  14. Ottawa to replace Champlain Bridge sooner than planned http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/montreal/Ottawa+replace+Champlain+Bridge+sooner+than+planned/9170762/story.html
  15. La flèche has arrived on site and they'll be installing it!
  16. Crane is going up! On the cam, you can one piece has been installed and the other pieces are parked on de la Montagne, ready to go up.
