    Avenue always set itself on a finish date of 2017, no? They're in no rush, it's more complex than the others.

    Based on the diagram above, we know the recess on the 1250 is 137m right? And Rocabella is 147m. The gap between the two (10m) is give or take the same as the full height of the 1250 (199m) and the tip of Avenue, which would lead me to believe Avenue very well could be about 187m-189m. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

    Does anyone know when the rings will be unveiled? CTV is claiming 7pm, CBC is saying 9:30pm. EDIT: Nevermind, Radio-Canada confirms it's 9:30pm.

    Projecting the rings onto the building? That would be so cheap and not even very "official". Wait and see how this turns out folks.

    The entire Roccabella project is $117 million. What did people expect? Considering how cheap it is, I think its quite nice. Avenue is $200 million and TDC $230 million!

    I walked down Drummond this evening and with Roccabella to the right, Avenue in front and TDC off behind them, it is truly a sight to behold. I actually felt a little claustrophobic, so much space just simply gone now!

    I was at the game Saturday and the weather clearly spooked some people. It wasn't that bad and the crowd was great. By the 65th minute, the storm blew in and it was a torrential downpour for basically the rest of the game. The people that didn't leave moved up under the overhang.

    This needs to happen. It's great to see all these lighting projects popping up around the city (Maison Olympique, Desjardins)

    I'm so glad its the Olympic rings and not the Canadian Olympic Committee's logo instead. I hope they put it on the other side as well, so it's visible from the bridges and old city!

    It was confirmed today, it will officially open July 9 and illuminated Olympic Rings will be featured at the top of the building, the IOC gave their blessing.
