Looks like the development will be a mix of townhouses, two to three story condo buildings and huge mansions (judging by the terrain sizes). Massive waste of space in a high-demand area IMO. -
Looks like they are having issues with the finishing between the precast facade pieces...

Is it just me or does the rendering make it look A LOT bigger than 6 floors? I mean look at the size of the people....

FYI, the architecture of this project has changed significantly from the original renderings. It looks almost exactly like that no name building talked about on the last page.

Sales office for these communist blocks has been up for a while and I never see any cars in its parking lot. My guess is these are a hard sell with the Cité L'Acadie taking shape about two blocks away. Honestly though, the developer should be ashamed of themselves for putting this proposal forward and the city should be slapped for approving it. It makes the "community housing" projects in Chicago and Detroit look well designed...

I should have been more precise and said one additional building after phase one. Basically, my girlfriend and I were originally supposed to buy a townhouse in Phase II. In our conversations with the developer rep on Friday, we were told that Phase II would be the last building going up for the forseeable future. There are plans for additional buildings but they are currently on hold because the overall master plan may be revised after concerns were raised (supposedly very vocally) but some local community groups. In addition, they supposedly only have permits to build two structures for the time being. I am not sure if this information was given just because they were pressing us to buy in Phase II (we would actually like to buy at the north end of Phase III based on the master plans) but this is the information that was given to us. Sales pitch? Maybe. For now though I'm seriously crossing my fingers because Phase III is where we would make our move.

According to the developer: ONE building of 11 floors with no plans to build any more for the foreseeable future.

Whatever he's smoking, I want some... Anyone have a PROPER rendering of this thing? Not the one presented which was obviously done by a fifth-grader in MS Paint.

First post here in a LONG time. I am not sure if anyone saw the design and patient care oriented press conference today but it seems those God-awful renderings are representative of the final (approved) structure and are not just spatial-impact studies. What a joke; that ghastly thing will be a white elephant on the Montreal skyline. Also, abolsutely nothing has been mentioned about the Shriners Hospital. Anyone know what happened there?
