I think it was really great to have the ePrix here. We honestly needed an alternative to the F1. I'm aware that the F1 is a big attraction but it's also associated with all the glitz, the sex-trade, the nightclubs, the money, troves of out-of-province men coming in for "a good time" ..... I really liked how this event was family oriented with activities for children. In my opinion, the easy access to the site was also a big plus. Nascar had brought a more family oriented event to balance out the F1 but unfortunately it didn't stick around..... We needed this sort of event to balance things out. I sincerely hope it stays here for good.

If they want a fun road course, they should do it on the mountain. It will be 2.8x longer than the current circuit and it will test the batteries.

It won't but a burden on any businesses, the residents will not be to happy though and people trying to access the mountain.

Cool idea, but I assume the grandstand placement might be challenging. Heaven forbid people would have to actaully walk up the mountain to get to their seats ! And you'd have to get the Amis de la Montagne on board. The E events could be set up at parc Jeanne-Mance though.

I was thinking of the Big O too. That would probably be more feasible.

Very interesting. But I think like @IluvMTL, it will be challenging to install all the grand stands. I hope we showcase more of the mountain in 2018. It seems to go hand in hand with pollution free emissions from the race cars.

Also don't think Camilien Houde is wide enough to allow for a  back/forth circuit from Park Ave to  the chalet Parking.

Je me demande bien si cette configuration pourrait être possible, 3.3km, pas trop de longues lignes droites, et le shortcut près du Casino utiliserait des infrastructures connectantes et existantes...

La Formule E, ça veut être EN ville, pas à l'extérieur. Arrêtons de penser à l'île ND.
