Believe me, the developer doesn't care about preserving the elegance and the height of PVM.

 

Neither do the folks at SITQ over at PVM.

 

In fact, if the developer were of a certain kind, he would deliberately build to the max of 200m to surpass PVM. In fact, I think a slender tower (of more creative architectural shape) at 200m would actually be better for PVM as it may help it stand out more. PVM is so massive (volume-wise) that not much can really block it.

 

As we see, you don't have to build tall to hide beautiful buildings as is the case with the Banque National over on Beaver Hall Hill - it completely erases the Bell tower from the skyline and it is basically the same height.

The way I'm seeing things right now, Pretty much all projects that were announced in the last 3 years are all on hold! At least until the american economy starts doing better!
