Le premier projet du centre Bell comprenait si je ne me trompe pas,même 3 tours,une à construire rapidement(qui n'est jamais venue).

Deux autres (bureaux aussi)à venir.De tailles dégressives.

La tour qui aurait dû faire l'angle nord-ouest du site -là où se trouve la Place du Centenaire- aurait été plus haute que celle qui aurait pu être construite à l'intersection de la rue de la Montagne et Saint-Jacques. Celle de la Place du Centenaire aurait probablement eu environ une vingtaine d'étages et celle du coin de Saint-Jacques aurait eu plus ou moins une dizaine d'étages au-dessus du Centre Molson. J'ai bien vu une autre esquisse avec un tout petit édifice de bureaux entre le Centre et la gare Windsor mais celle-ci semblait n'avoir guère plus que dix étages. Vraiment, il faut voir cette exposition !!!

La tour va être présentée à Montréal du Futur, alors bon, je ne crois pas qu'il faut s'en faire pour le projet, même s'il est lent à démarrer.

Hâte de voir un rendu potable à l'exposition!

J'ai l'intention d'y être. Je serai à une conférence sur l'immobilier à l'hotel Hyatt Regency au Complexe Desjardins le 24 avril (c'est en même temps que l'Exposition de Montréal du Futur). J'ai bien hâte de voir quelle maquette il vont nous montrer? Celle de 40 étages ou celle de 62 étages.

I pray this doesn't get built and that the land remains Centennial Plaza...there is no reason to ruin a great little square that the Canadiens spent time and money turning into a place where their history can be publically displayed and fans and tourists can stand next to statues of legends like Morenz, Richard, Beliveau and Lafleur. There is TONS of land downtown that is just ugly parking lots, pick any one of those...

I agree with Robertpuant. The plaza is nothing special, not even 5 years old. If you move it to you court yard, there is much room for expansion outside, and maybe even into the old station. It could also become an area for events about the Canadians.

 

Also, you can't really just pick another plot of land, and build on it. That's not how property ownership works.
