Nice viewpoint! It's something we don't see often. I guess this will be a similar viewpoint for the new developments at the Children's (just a bit more towards the south).

Wow, interesting project and I'm really surprised to see 10 stories?! Not only would make that make it one of the highest buildings in that area, there would also be 3 of them? This looks like part of the land of FP Innovations. They have a building there but I believe they are moving to another location closer to Montreal. Will the project take over the land currently occupied by the FP Innovations building?

I think Bronfman is playing it smart - he doesn't want to come across as being against it especially if the idea came from MLB and Rob Manfred. So this is the right play by Bronfman. I believe that MLB and the Rays are suggesting this mainly to put pressure on the city of Tampa Bay, that's all.

Very interesting! if done properly this could really enhance the area. Hopefully they can build some residential as well? I've always thought it makes sense to build residential towers near shopping centers.

As with any elevated structure there is also the concern on how will the infrastructure will "age" over time (e.g. will the cement start to crack and look "decrepit" in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?). Hopefully it will be well built and built to last. I also hope it doesn't get completely tagged to heck by the neighborhood taggers...

Here's a few pics from today. Phase 2 almost completed and Phase 3 progressing. I believe Phase 4 might be on the site of the Bureau en Gros that moved to Kirkland? You can even see the construction of the REM from here! Great selling point for the condos, right? 😂
