    Je me demande la meme chose chaque fois que je passe par la. WTF is going on??! They were supposed to redo the 40 eastbound but instead they left it an incomplete mess. I just returned from 2 weeks driving on Ontario highways and while they are not perfect NOWHERE did I see anything like this. It's like the MTQ just doesn't care??

    Tout a fait d'accord avec toi. Some of the "engineering" designs that date from 50-60 years ago simply CANNOT be used today. It's a sad state that the government waits until people die before doing anything.

    I am satisfied with the results. The top is nowhere near as nice as the initial renderings promised but when you think of what was on those lots just a decade ago...the final result is not too bad at all.

    Pictures from Fairview aujourd'hui. In person, this is starting to look huuuuuuuuuge. Can't imagine what the sections passing right in front of buildings will look like?? Also not sure about the "finishing" of the cement...do you think they will put a coat on it to protect from graffiti, etc? All told, I'm happy to be getting rapid train service in the area but man oh man this is massive infrastructure!!

    Not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand it's sad that people will be kicked out of the homes they have lived in for many years, on the other hand the buildings do look old and worn down. Is this simply the "free market" driving new development?

    Isn't this area in the flood zone according to those new maps from our hapless civil servants??! 🤣 Seriously though, that is NOT a good area for a 12 storey high-rise, it's right on the highway/dorval circle. The poor folks won't be able to open their windows due to poluution and noise!! 😧 Why not build it on the land of Jardins Dorval? We really need to start converting our shopping centers into mixed residential/commercial use. Especially for seniors, this would give them access to a range of shops and services just outside their doorstep.
