    Good report by The Gazette. While I believe that development in that area ultimately makes sense, it's still important to know some of the background behind the decisions the Caisse is making with our money. The article also raises a good point about the selection for some of the West-end stops. Why no station at the corner of St-Charles? There is plenty of space there for a station.

    I meant more to co-ordinate the design of the project with the re-design of the Decarie. Doesn't mean it has to happen at the same time but at least to take into consideration both parts together. For sure it would be massive gridlock it the work all happened at once! 😀

    They had me at "50 storey towers". 🤩 Make it tall and make it beautiful! It's still not perfect but WAAAAAY better than the initial proposal. We have a chance to greatly improve an ugly part of our city. Let's make it happen! PS - now we just need le ministère des Transports du Québec to agree to rebuild the Decarie exchange as part of this project and everything will be perfect. 😎

    Wow that IS strange! It looks like they are demolishing a terrace or some part that was sticking out the back of the building?

    Guys! It's clearly a MASTER PLAN from Claude Cormier. The water that spills outside the fountain will slowly trickle down to the AVIS building. Over the next 25 years this slow yet effective damage will cause the building to be condemned. Then finally, FINALLY we will be rid of that eyesore. We just need to be patient...and pray!!
