  1. Because there is a hotel across the square, there shouldn't be a hotel here?? There are many hotel brands Montreal is missing - what is the metric you're using the conclude there are enough hotels downtown?
  2. Well, the rear does face an alley and the Centra condos...
  3. Agreed! Nice street wall on de Bleury and PV looks GORGEOUS in that light.
  4. Westcliff have no idea how to go about building office. lol. They should just bow out. Though they now own 2 of the most coveted, well situated, remaining empty lots in town. On another note, this lot is perfect for a public parking structure for Ste Catherine Street - the city should get into a JV with Westcliff or buy the lot and JV with someone else: city runs the garage and the partner builds office of residential on top.
  5. Wow. Sexy. Chic. Going to really transform the east side of the downtown core.
  6. Thanks! I totally forgot about this row of buildings. Good refresher.
  7. Are they recreating that corner of a building that used to be there? I've never know any building there in my lifetime.... are they looking are archival photos for this?
  8. Delays aside, it's a good-looking building.
  9. this block is going to have some kick-ass density.... and really varied heights and styles.
  10. And with 1 lane of traffic on Ste Cath in the future, it's going to look downright ghostly at certain times.
  11. To be fair, this is under the approach to YUL - located roughly between the parallel runways.
  12. Stunning photos! Sexy as hell. But it sure is taking a long time to finish off the crown.
  13. AMAZING. A 200M bank tower. A new HQ. So excited for this one.
  14. That gold detailing really does add something special. Looks like a jewel box. Can't wait to see the lighting scheme.
  15. Wow. Never seen this! CN also has some gigantic designs for the Central Station mega block. Damn Depression.
  16. The section facing R-L isn't bad; the "tower" in the rear is poorly proportioned in relation to the R-L building; it should have been taller by 5-7 floors. Also, it's design is straight out of VSL.
  17. Wow. Fabulous. I guess skyscrapers are back in fashion in Montreal; it's been awhile. LOL.
  18. Built in 58. Still a handsome building. Hope they don't mess around with it too much as they did with the old Prudential building across from PVM.
  19. This one will be massive compared to all the condo towers we are watching rise... the large floor plates with a height of 200M is gonna be impressive.
