  1. My eyes are bleeding. It looks like two different buildings next to a stack of shipping containers on Notre Dame
  2. So you would oblige a private company willing to invest $2B in a project of this magnitude to make improvements to the existing road network as well? Seems like a horrible deal for them.... The municipal and provincial governments have every interest in this project being a success. Just think of the extra tax dollars coming in..... It's the reason why Projet Bicycle Montreal has been so quiet about the whole thing! The least the gov't can do is improve road access that should have been improved 25 years ago.... It will allow the $$$ to flow more fluidly into their coffers
  3. Classic Quadrax...
  4. They will not be painted. They're staying as is.
  5. You don't realize how big the hole is until you look at the machinery on the left! And the amount of stairs
  6. All I see is more traffic on the 40/15/640 lol
  7. Somebody tell this guy that the Colosseum has been empty for quite some time!
  8. Les "sacs en plastique" sont la pour protéger le béton pendant des coulées en conditions hivernales
  9. @SKYMTL it's like you're inside my head lol I lived allllllll the way down Antoine-Faucon for a long time and when Kirkland decided to develop the wooded area at the end of Chateau-Pierrefonds and build a house where the acces to Houde should have been, it was incomprehensible.... And then they decided to install a locked fence/gate that puts the Park Ex fence to shame.... Needless to say, they are not worried in the least about congestion on streets in Pierrefonds The fence in question: Pic 1 = Pierrefonds side Pic 2 = Kirkland side Long story short, the new urban boulevard needs to be built before the REM if the station is to be properly served by public transit
  10. The new boulevard, parking lot and interchange absolutely need to be built BEFORE the REM station...
  11. You could always use that as a negotiating tactic to get a better price
  12. God damn that's like $150K worth of concrete....
  13. There is also the Terra townhouse project by Broccolini near the terminus in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue
  14. Selon la photo, il semble déjà avoir un trou?? Sinon ca peut être des murs/structures de soutènement
  15. Truly incredible feat by SpaceX
  16. So cute that they wanted to start digging before Broccolini releases the render for their new residential tower
  17. Concrete pump... possiblement pour couler la base de la grue, ou pour une chape de béton dans le fond du trou Also, don't send the 2nd picture to the CNESST
  18. ^^ Exactly! The problem with the prices that are estimated by the city is that they are usually supplied by either consultants or architectural/engineering firms. They could avoid this kind of embarrassment by hiring a GC to estimate their project for them before the appel d'offre (et s'il y a des honoraires à payer, include them in the global budget for the project!).
  19. I don't really care about the housing development but that boulevard is necessary with or without it
