  1. Kids in the West Island have two sets of mommies and daddies. Pretty sure they will want to stay at the ones living south of the 20 lol
  2. Lol “they don’t need longer trains; to increase capacity, they can just run the trains every 90 seconds…” Can you imagine that going by 80 times an hour?
  3. That’s ok, they are putting some plastic fences near where people live, to deflect the sound. That crappy white barrier is going up along almost the entire Roxboro segment, y’know, because it wasn’t already ugly enough. Really curious to see what happens to property values along the DM branch.
  4. Yup. Or as I said, even just across the TCan into the very busy industrial park. Anse and Sources are poorly (almost uselessly) located, while both Fairview and Kirkland really should’ve been at the transversal boulevards. Pretty sure the Caisse was really banking on huge residential developments at the four West Island stations. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
  5. Am I the only one who didn’t actually see any windows falling in that video?
  6. https://parks.canada.ca/lhn-nhs/qc/canallachine/visit/heures-hours I hate it when my government lies to me
  7. Been discussed to death. It makes no sense to extend a metro 15 km through a park and farms, just like Chambly, Mirabel, Boucherville, St-Pie-de-Bagàpopcorn. Exurbs are properly served by a good suburban train network (exo is not good).
  8. How did I never notice the fake storage unit doors in the CN viaduct arcades? Is that new?
  9. Étonnamment, c'est un point de vue inédit. Bravo encore, @chico!
  10. Does any privileged white person actually know what "woke" means? JFC
  11. Why was this moved to “cancelled”?
  12. I’m starting to hate what’s become of my city. I’m a lefty, but I have no room in my heart for those who don’t respect my city.
  13. And 628 looks especially twee from here
  14. Correct me if I’m wrong, but everything I’ve been reading in real estate publications suggests that demand for residential properties in the core and downtown continues to be very strong; the problem appears to be that most of the developers’ credit facilities are currently strained or even tapped out, so they must finish the properties already in development before moving on to new ones.
