Du Ruisseau has only been there since 1995 after the line was renovated. Before that, Monkland station was at O’Brien, in the former wartime housing neighbourhood of Monkland. The proposed (yes, for 60+ years) Line 2 extension would have intersected with Line 3 at Monkland, not Val Royal.
