  1. Which retailer sits inside the old Les Ailes store?
  2. Courtesy of Bloomberg https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-10/cominar-reit-said-to-hire-banks-for-montreal-train-station-sale
  3. Lets see what these 200 businesses can come up with. I have a feeling, they will just try and get everyone to work from a co-working space in either: Deux Montagne, somewhere in Laval or the West Island.
  4. Thanks for posting it. I wanted to do the same but forgot.
  5. Maybe something on the lines of The Stack (Vancouver) for this location.
  6. It be great if RESO would finally connect the north and the south. Someone should bring it up to the mayor.
  7. Possible expansion by 2031? They aren't in a hurry. The mayor of St Laurent should start a go fund me page for the $45 million.
  8. If true, that it will be delayed because of the tunnel, that gives them time to extend the orange line. Everyone involved in the project should work to get it realized asap.
  9. Nice to see another food Hall in Montreal with good food.
  10. For sure. It be even cooler if they brought the 270 degree cinema concept to the cinema.
  11. The names they have for this food court, probably makes it one of the best places to eat anywhere.
  12. I visited some of them. One thing for sure, I think Gracia, Barcelona, is a better choice compared to Poblenou, Barcelona, but thats me. Stoneybatter, Dublin is pretty cool, but I think Portobello way better, because of the canal. As for Budapest, the whole city is pretty cool, but I haven't been there for a few years now, so I can't say much about Bartók. I did not have a chance to visit Wedding when I was in Berlin, I will surely check it out next time.
  13. https://www.timeout.com/coolest-neighbourhoods-in-the-world Verdun comes in at 22 on the list and it beats out The Junction in Toronto which sits at 36.

  15. I am not sure if this was posted already or not. https://beta.montreal.ca/en/news/celebrating-mil-new-neighbourhood-born
  16. I checked on Google Maps the commute time with the current public transit system in place. Commute Job near Poste Canada (Highway 40) - 46 mins Job near Aldo Head Office - 49 mins Job in Chabanel area - 57 mins Job near Anjou mall - 72 mins (will be better with blue line extension) Job in the downtown core - 49 mins Job off of Sources - 53 mins (might be quicker with REM) Job near 32nd Ave in Lachine - 52 mins Times are also based on a 14 min walk to Namur, for people who live further in the development, if you live as close as possible to Namur, you might save 9 mins. A lot are within the 60 min range, which is not ideal, if you are a person that do not have a car, but it is possible. --- I do want to see the cost for a 3-4 bedroom house or townhouse in this development. Will it include a schools, day cares, grocery stores?
  17. I think the best navette they could use, would be a tram system, nice and green. Either way, I am looking forward to seeing what this development will look like. I wonder if this whole car free thing, will mess up the extension of Cavendish blvd.
  18. They started redeveloping the old Eaton (aka Sears) location for Simons. I wonder who will take over Deco Decouverte location, it is a pretty large space.
  19. Send the pics to the Transport Minister.

  21. I think it is a great idea. I am surprised the city didn't ask FedEx, UPS and others to do the same.
  22. The setup of Notre Dame is a mess, it is 2 lanes going east and 1 west, someone did not know and thought it was 3 lanes one direction and nearly hit me head on Saturday night. The province really needs to fix that, before someone gets killed.
