  1. Any movement on the site or still closed?
  2. Interesting to see Sonder expanding, when Airbnb cut a nice portion of their staff and a nice amount of their Montreal staff from Luxury Retreats.
  3. Merci pour l'information. The problem with the 968 it makes so many stops, it should only do Roxboro-Sunnybrooke-Cote Vertu or Roxboro-Sunnybrooke-Bonaventure
  4. Why cant the DM train take the same direction as Mascouche? The track to turn is already there.
  5. Will construction workers be taking off for the construction holiday or that isn't happening this year and they will work, to try and catch up?
  6. Since the whole pandemic and people being confined to their tiny condos with 100s if not 1000s of other people, it got me thinking, what would be needed to make these places more livable. Developers would have to sacrifice one or two units per floor, to have an indoor or outdoor space for people on that floor to go to; instead of one common area on the roof. It will give more people access at one time to get fresh air. Make it mandatory that each unit has a small balcony, so people can step out for fresh air and have a wall garden, to grow some veggies or have green space.
  7. Canada needs to be self-sufficient with many things. Hopefully, Covid will be the force that will make it so.

    Expos de Montréal

With people talking about how sports might change after Covid, will they need to spend a fortune on a stadium; if everyone will be forced to watch the games with VR?
  9. It looks like the 1st batch of people to go back to work, will be people in construction starting May 11th.
  10. Great work. There is so much potential and work needed to improve the public transit system in the Greater Montreal area and on island.
  11. Now I am wishing that the Pink line would come to light. I am looking at a place in Old Rosemont right now. It would make life getting to work near Ikea so much easier.
  12. The company I work for let go half the staff. The execs took pay cuts to save the other half of the company. By Friday I believe we will be closing all 150+ stores and we will all be out of job.
  13. It may not happen in that configuration, but something similar by 2030.
  14. Another rendering of the exterior courtesy of GH+A via Retail Insider.
  15. Who's fault is if for letting the building to fall into disrepair? I do hope they can save the exterior and at least the lobby or something.
  16. Courtesy of Retail Insider It will be interesting to see which two retailers that will move into the existing food court. They still need to find someone for the old Deco location. Not sure if this was posted before or not.
  17. It be great if they could test it out somewhere in the city or in a mall parking lot. It be nice in the future, having roads and highways free of snow and ice all winter.
  18. WSP is looking to aquire Aecom.
  19. There use to be a building on the corner of Henri-Bourassa and Valiquette. It would be nice if city could manage to expand Brabant Marineau north to Thimens and Pitfield. That would help with traffic. True, they would have to be allowed to build through Hydro Quebec land.
  20. They are going to sell some of the malls that they own. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-02-20/caisse-de-depot-to-sell-one-third-of-malls-amid-e-commerce-hit
  21. For this to work, they need to get rid of parking spaces and a lot of people will complain.
