Je crois que ça ne prend pas un Einstein pour voir que si un projet n'est pas encore classé dans la catégorie "en construction" cela veut dire que ce n'est pas en construction! Logique n'est pas?? C'est comme si je visiterais un forum sur les jeux video et il existe une catégorie "à venir" et une formurer pose la question "Est-ce que ce jeux à sorti déjà? J'ai hâte à le jouer":banghead:

Bref, j'accorde le respecte à ceux qui le mérite, et j'ai déjà souhaité la bienvenu à sim après avoir reçu ses excuses.

I have to laugh at how some of you folks make outrageous statements about companies that are planning on investing hundreds of millions of dollars in our city. CF is at this moment constructing an $86,000,000.00 addition to Les Galeries D'Anjou. It is a large construction site with lots of workers. So why would you say that they don't give a crap about Montreal. By the way the Tour Windsor is a $150,000,00.00 that has been approved ....so please stop making unfounded claims without checking your facts. Is it absolutely confirmed that CF has pulled out of Montreal Futur or is it another rumor????

Well I answered my own question. I called Boma and their rep told me that the Cadillac Fairview kiosque has definetly been withdrawn. So yes it is somewhat negative and disappointing.

 

But maybe, just maybe they were caught off guard with all the recent announcements for the Icone the Roccabella ,etc etc. So why would they come in with a project that will most probably be redesigned from A to Z. This is a major player in real estate ...and you make them sound like Roland Hakim or Luc Poirier....and even Luc Poirier is building the Griffix. So be patient

Let's stay positive. They did some core sampling a few months ago on the site for the 60 storey tower, they also went ahead for the approval of the Windsor Tower. You all know that Sal Iacono was busy putting together land parcels around the Bell Center for an estimated $150 Million. As I said in my previous post I mentioned their on-going $86 Million project in Anjou.

 

Maybe they'll pull a Canderel (Philip Square sell-off) and sell off the land for profit. Remember, companies are driven by profits and not by our dreams.

 

Remember how everybody pissed on Devimco when they stopped their initial project. Today, GriffinTown is the biggest construction site, even larger than the MUHC...so be patient and we may get a real good surprise from Cadillac Fairview. They redesign the whole project and make an announcement with only their project in the spotlight.

 

Maybe wishful thinking... but being positive is such a better feeling than being miserable and negative.

J'aime mieux que CF n'y soit pas si le projet n'Est pas ficelé et design final que de voir des projets comme place universite de Magil qui est la depuis le début à présenter un projet qui change au 2 ans de forme/design sans que rien ne soit toujours sorti de terre ni mis en ventes (la partie résidentielle du 3e projet que l'on as présentement)

It was finalized on April 4th and they were commited to being at the show. They just pulled out.

Thanks for confirming that Cadillac Fairview is again pulling a joke on Montreal. I am so believing that they will sell the land for a profit. Toronto companies are not interested in Montreal's condo market. All towers currently planned are coming from Montreal companies or European ones. Montreal can do without them!!

At least european companies care about Montreal, that look good for the free trade agreement between Canada-European Union that might be signed this year
