    Went to the sales office today. Out of the 438 units in the building, the salesman showed a list of 20 units that were available, suggesting that ~95% are sold. Had a hard time believing him but he seemed very insistent. I know that's what salesman do, but I have a hard time believing these big companies backing the project would be deceitful. Canderel, FTQ, CH, etc will definitely go ahead with 47 floors, pending city approval. No time line given from city. Since sales are going so well, demolition has begun and construction to begin early 2016 i.e. in a few months.

    This is a business decision. They cannot afford to maintain the building. It might suck for the neighbourhood, but what's better: lose money by staying in the building and eventually lay off workers OR relocating and keeping your workers.

    I like it. I always thought it would look really nice if they put some poles with lights alongside the tracks. Especially from smith to place bonaventure. Similar to the lighting poles you see on the median along university between Saint Jacques and RL.
