Life must be really tough if you complain about that picture. Do you remember what it looked like a few years back? Me neither...because there was NOTHING. Parking lots that looked like they've gone through war. Don't hate, appreciate! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Amen! Fed up with those ridiculous height comments. Pure nonsense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

More I think about it, radio-Canada isn't a bad proposition. 1) walking distance to station beaudry 2) walking distance to de la commune in the old port 3) batters facing the illuminated Jacques-Cartier bridge (that would be a beautiful thing) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Exactement. Nobody complains that the buildings are too tall. I perceive that attitude as envy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He envisions a stadium with 36,000 capacity, similar to Fenway at 37,500. He also says "a default de stade...", which leads us to believe that would be his preference over a residential/commercial development. http://affaires.lapresse.ca/economie/immobilier/201512/01/01-4926533-un-promoteur-bien-place-pour-racheter-le-childrens.php Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't understand why this project gets no love. Marginally more traffic? Guess what, it's a big city and traffic ain't all that bad here compared to other metro areas of the same size. The pros HEAVILY outweigh the cons. 1) 1.7B dollar project...do these come to this city everyday? NO! We should be welcoming this investment and thanking our lucky stars. We don't have the luxury of turning these down. 2) $45m of fresh new annual tax revenue 3) 15,000 jobs will be created...after all the recent reports about job losses, high unemployment, overall weakening local economy, etc...this is job gold. 4) Proximity to public transport 5) This project will replace a massive parking lot and spice up a butt ugly neglected part of the city 6) More leverage to connect cavendish between csl and vsl. The list goes on. Now let's stop complaining and hope this one pulls through pronto. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can't speak for others. But it's not so much the quality (or lack thereof) of tdc2 that excites me. It's more about the development of the land south of Saint Antoine that has been ignored for the longest time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
