  1. Agreed, I see them daily, a good proportion of the taxis I see have the new livery .
  2. Not terrible, it's like bit of each of Amanti and Noca and Arbora all together.
  3. I spoke to a rep the other day who said they sold over 30% already.... Hmmm not that don't believe you but i'd rather be right where more was sold haha
  4. Unfortunately not, the Mackay one, quicker they sell that the quicker they start this project.
  5. A banner has just been put up on Lucien-L'Allier. I guess they'll be trying to sell their project on Mackay before anything here. Which, you'll all be pleased to hear, is already 55% sold according to their site.
  6. Well I can say I work in Lasalle, I drive from Lachine, and over a 10 minute drive there are two expansions, along with one brand new commercial/industrial being built and two places that went up for rent a month ago and are already rented out. So there is definitely something going on, when it will actually become a landlord's market is yet to be seen. None the less Lasalle is heating up.
  7. Maybe there will be adding a sidewalk, as there currently is not one on that side of the road. The building would then be very close to that new sidewalk.
  8. Then launch sales for phase 2 and build the two phases simultaneously, at least for the excavation and foundations.

  11. Wow, a positive article from the Montreal Gazette. That's a nice change.
  12. Just stumbled upon this article talking about Lightspeeds office inside Gare Viger https://www.fastcodesign.com/3054147/the-most-beautiful-tech-office-of-the-year
  13. Absolutely correct, I am one of those very people! Anglophone from Montreal, english parents, family and friends and I love this city. I even go to school in french because hey ETS has a good rep for what I want so that's where I go. I do however know those people Rocco is talking about and let me tell you they aggravate me just as much as they may to any francophone but I always remind them of just how much is going on and how being a bitching /angry person will never actual benefit anyone. I and many of my friends are here to stay and work and build this city because it is just as much our city as anyone else's. I hate being lumped into a bunch of angry pessimistic shit heads who will undoubtedly always complain no matter how good the news on our city. Just as a side note I know lots of french speaking Montrealers who also have that very poor attitude towards our city. Anyway, bonne fete Montreal!!! haha
  14. Drove by today and there has been a change in name of the project, looks like the developer changed? Not sure. http://agora24.ca
  15. Already at ground level, this thing is going up mighty fast.
  16. Update* there is a lot of action on site, they seem to be doing a huge decontamination, 10 diggers and other machinery. I'll take a picture next time.

  18. Well I can tell you they are done the roof and it looks fantastic, when the next phase starts however not sure.
  19. Most notably Mr.Facebook, went to school and started Facebook in Boston and as you may know it is based in silicon valley. I.e no matter how reputable your schools and education you will not keep everyone who went through your system. It's just a matter of keeping a better proportion.
  20. The red brick looks alright, why couldn't they do the whole thing in red brick? Couldn't have cost that much more and wouldn't have looked nearly as bad. I don't understand why they try to make the co-ops stand out, they should just fit in really well as to not bring any attention to them.
