The building will be vacant in two years and will be demolished and replaced by a 34 storey residential tower. The same fate awaits 1000 Saint-Antoine, but that is only 6 years from now. They are capping those leases to 5 years.

    Does anyone know why they burn the weekend of la Fête Nationale at Quartier des Spectacles? I was down there this Sunday with 40 thousand other people wondering why it's a ghost area, with all these kiosks under construction blocking the actual restaurant terrasses. Why not tear down Francofolies on the Tuesday? With so few weekends in the summer, especially long weekends, this seems like a giant waste of space.

    As a bus user, we are screwed till the REM is functional. The bus will have to cross traffic 3 times and for some reason, they have two lanes merging for something like 400 meters before the breakdown lane/ bus lane instead of one lane 50 meters. It would have made way more sense to have the bus lane the fourth lane.
