I doubt it, I think Standard Life is locked for 900dmo and are working on the sale of their current building. Nonetheless, the work done by the CF team in Montreal securing Deloitte and RioTintoAlcan away from all other projects and having launched last is still very impressive and my understanding was that the time table for the current Deloitte tower was too quick for some large tenants that are considering moving and since that project launched they fast tracked the next one.

That's not true. 750 Peel is already being presented in real estate briefings to potential lease clients.

This is a pretty dumb article (blog post). The vast majority of the people in the mentioned buildings would be using public transportation, same for those attending events at the Bell Center. Traffic won't dissuade buyers downtown, it is one of the reasons they would be buying in that location.

I think these two buildings look awful. I would have much preferred glass buildings to this honeycomb style crap prefab cladding. This looks like something that would have been designed in the 70's. This looks like a renovated Concordia Hall building or a cheap version of the Dundas Square proposal (which is fugly too). As usual, the work from Cardinal Hardy doesn't even come close to what is being done by other groups at IBI and that is reflected by the other projects referenced in the OCPM document. I hope the consultations go well and that the height increase is approved, but I really hope that these drawings are only preliminary.

Oui je sais. Je disais que la photo de denpanosekai montre la nouvelle project de Panzini sur le site du Maharaja, qui est un project de 23 étages de condo et au autre edifice de 9 étages de résidence étudiante. Comme la photo est dans ce fil, j'ai répondu dans ce fil. -

The construction workplan was released this week. On it, it states : The owner has retained a major tenant to occupy 250,000 ft2 of commercial areas and confirmed registration for 75% of constructed units. Excavation and site preparation works are expected late 2013.
