That's really good news. The Lewiston Maineacs (or whatever they're called) should certainly be allowed to relocate to Greater Montreal if they desire. The market can support it.

If they're not dead. Honestly that league has issues, which there's no need to get into. Exactly! Why pay 40 million plus a stadium for garbage? (most teams lose money!) while you can play in a much cheaper league and still be as competitive if not more then lousy MLS. The way some of you talk I'd think we're talking about the English Premiership or Ligue 1 or something...

MLS will collapse. They're idiots and would be lucky to have Montreal in their circuit. What a great turnout and a great victory. All the impact need is to play a smart defensive game in Mexico and they'll be in the final four. Sorte unreal, eh?

Pas d'accord. MLS n'est rien de special, mais ton affirmation pousse un peu trop. En plus c'est ridicule de dire que le hockey en europe est au niveau amateur.

I believe this is not the only bid that will be withdrawn. There's no way a franchise is worth 50 million in a league that's not even profitable. While it may be disapointing, ultimately it's better for Montreal to have a team that pwns MLS competition anyways, then have a team play in a league that will fold. People need to realize this is MLS we're talking about, if Montreal lost out on a premiership team or la ligua then that's another story...but we're talking about a league that's not in the best shape. Think about it, there's no doubt Montreal had the best bid, and if Multi-billionnaire Saputo and Gillett decide to walk out, how will the other bids do?

Thank you. Stole my thunder. These elections are living proof that the American Education system needs major upgrades. In fact there should even be an official election, just put Obama in. Even if he tried he couldn't put the US in a bigger mess then what the Republican did. It's actually a joke. The republicans have a clueless chief and with an idiot running mate...who's going to vote for them you ask? Well it seems obvious to me.

Her alone is reason enough not to vote republican, let alone how much the idiot republicans have brought down a country in 8 years. Not to mention a different group (Jeffery Hunt) is likely going to build a new stadium at landsdowne for the CFL team...In fact he's project is much more likely to happen.
