Most still stand because they ran out of budget trying to bring them down after the war. Place Bonaventure contains *a lot* of concrete too. The outer walls don't have enough to survive an indirect nuke stroke, but the superstructure has. I am not super certain about the foundations. It's built on pillars on top of rail lines.
