SameGuy Posté(e) 13 avril 2023 Partager Posté(e) 13 avril 2023 I know people are getting tired of the “horns might not happen” comments, but at this point, as a layperson, I can’t see how they could possibly work. The prefab that’s going up has a relief that looks to be about a foot off the sub structure; the concrete parapet on the roof appears significantly taller than the current angle of the prefab cladding could possibly cover up. photo adapted from a great shot by @David St-Laurent Citer Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites

Crane is still in place. The "horns" will likely be a steel structure (if installed at all...) I still have hope 1 Citer Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites

That concrete parapet may be necessary to help anchor/secure the steel structure. That being said, the esthetic of the top of the building is definitely gonna be different from the renders in order to account for that parapet. If they choose to completely forego the "horns", I think they may also have issues with the CCU because it's a pretty significant architectural feature. 3 Citer Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites
