Price with two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

Start Halak game 5 and bench Price for the rest of the playoffs (if we somehow win game 5), trade him during the summer.

Our Goalies aren't the problem. We could have had Brodeur, Luongo or Patrick fvc.king Roy in nets for this series, and we would have lost. When your defensive corps sucks as much as ours does, your goalie doesn't stand a chance against an offensive juggernaut like the Caps. Think about it, they have 4 players who had more points than Plekanec.

The Habs lost this series in the second period of the 2nd game. We had just scored our 4th goal and there was 2 minutes left in the period and we let the Caps get back into the game. That's where the series was lost.

Also, let's not forget, that had our boys showed up for the games against the Islanders, Hurricanes and the Leafs (games 80, 81 and 82 of the regular season) we wouldn't have had to play against the BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE!!!

Look at Boston, they lead 3-1 against Buffalo...that could have been our Habs against the Sabres...but our boys decided not to show up for those last three games of the regular season... ON récolte ce que l'on sème!

You mean trade Halak!

Halak doesn't have it in him. Come play-offs he's only a shell of what he was during the season...and by the way Halak has 1 win in his last 6 or 7 starts and looks incredibly average. IN the play-offs you need a goalie with moxie, a fire within himself if you will and Halak in my humble opinion does not exude these qualities. He's a great guy in the dressing room, never complaining etc etc you need a character guy. Look at Roy, you think he was quiet in the dressing room, he was as vocal, volatile and arrogant in the room and he backed it up. He had his walkman on singing to tunes while preparing for a match! I believe Price has those qualities. Granted, the penalties Price took were stupid but at least he showed some emotion and he was pissed. What did the other players do? Absolutely nothing. Case in point, we know we're going down and loose the game putting us 1 game to 3 at least show some emotion at the end of the game, mix it up a little bit show the caps that the next game will not be a cake walk. Yesterdays highlight for me was Moore. Not only did he score a high lite goal of the series and perhaps the playoffs but he played hard until the end. Here's the reality of the matter, We're old, We're soft and We're small! We need to toughen up, get beefier and grittier. I can tell you this had PK Subban been in the line-up, he'd be the habs best player and probably had a scrap or two because he gets it, you need to get down and dirty to win. Take the hit to make the big plays etc etc..

Agreed, but the Bruins have the best goalie at this point in time in Rask! He's stopping everything. Not only that, but the Bruins are hitting the crap out of the Sabres. I've seen some vicious hits laid out by the Bruins. They get it!! They know what it takes to win. The Habs are too passive and are keen with the loss. Nobody other than Price showed emotion. Gionta could only do so much. We're too small!!! We need size and grittier players. Players who play with an edge. The Caps are toying with the Habs. It looked like the Caps weren't even trying in the early goings of the hockey game. They can open up the machine at will against the Habs and they did. Look at Green the other day, talking about the Habs saying that they have no one on this team that scares them... No shit!!!! I would have instructed my players to concentrate on Green, pound him every shift, let him pay the price for his comments...but nothing because that's not coach Martin's style + we simply can not back it up.
