I'm saying that price is exceptionally good at making a first pass. That way, you have a dman joining the rush and your transition game is dynamic and not static like we've seeing during the slump. Carey is like a 3rd dman back there. That is what was generating serious offence and oddman rushes. Carey would break a two man forecheck, pass it to a dman, and it's a 4 on 3.

1) Real first line centre 2) second line right winger that we've been trying to plug for years with guys like kassian, semin, briere, parenteau, Ryder, etc. 3) we really need Carey back. Not so much for his amazing saves, but more so for his puck handling ability. He absolutely kills the puck behind the net when the opposition dumps it in and makes a break out pass. And when he can't make that first pass, he places it out of harms way. Many goals against are blamed on the defence turning the puck over behind the net, but they're turning it over behind the net because the goalie, be it condon/scrivens places the defenceman in a high risk situation.

Why would you pay top dollar on rent for low to medium income earners? Doesn't make financial sense. Shareholders won't allow it.
