  1. It's so stupid.... Griffintown - ETS or Griffintown - Cite Multimedia.... but Griffintown - Bernard Landry 🤯
  2. Mysterious structure in the Bureau en Gros parking lot seems to be a curtain wall mock-up with a couple of different glazing options.
  3. Thanks ! And nope just regular settings
  4. June 20th 2020 - just about ready to make the push across St-Charles
  5. In summer temperatures and with today's mixes, the concrete usually reaches its "advertised" resistance after 7-8 days. Also, in many cases the final resistance (after the 28 day cure period) can be between 3-8 MPa stronger than what was ordered (ex: 25 MPa is actually 28 - 33 MPa).
  6. Damn that's horrible Didn't know they still made that white,1970's St-Leonard brick
  7. You should follow your own advice....Two months ago you were touting hydroxychloroquine as a COVID-19 miracle drug! That's a lot more dangerous than anything Dr. Arruda has said. I get that it's confusing when public health revises their recommendations, but I wouldn't say that it's incoherent, illogical or inefficient. When we knew less about COVID, it was 2m. Now that we are learning more about the virus, we can update that info to 1 - 1.5m. Seems logical to me.... I think what it comes down to is that people love to complain.
  8. If Dr. Arruda advised people to "socially distance" more than they had to, then logically we would all be safer for it.... I don't understand why he would step down, I prefer that our health officials remain cautious and conservative. The coronavirus is a new challenge for everyone, including our public officials. It's only normal that recommendations and procedures will be updated as new information is discovered and we learn more about the virus.
  9. Steel is much stronger in tension than concrete and steel box girders can generally be used for larger spans without a large increase in girder depth (important for clearance height and column/foundation design).
  10. Unfortunately work probably won't resume until after the construction holidays...
  11. Yes I know what you meant
  12. There is no parking but that is not it lol
  13. I really like this project. Perfect density next to the canal
  14. There is already serious interest for the Hertz and OACI sites. I'm not sure for coin Maisonneuve / de la Montagne though.
  15. From what I've heard the project is not dead, but definitely on hold for the time being. The next 6 months will be very telling.
  16. Basilique Notre-Dame
  17. No, but you shouldn't base your opinions on the low-quality renders that are publicly available.
  18. Lol I'm not stressed about it, no worries... but two wrongs don't make a right
  19. C'est une mauvaise traduction, pure and simple! En francais on peut dire: << Anne va continuer de l'est de la rampe du boulevard St-Charles >> mais la traduction est plutot: "Anne will continue from east of the Saint-Charles boulevard ramp (as mentioned by @SameGuy " et non "Anne will continue east from the Saint-Charles boulevard ramp".
It's an on-ramp, not an off-ramp.
  21. I heard this project is on hold until at least the month of July.
  22. Wow the second picture almost looks like a foreign skyline
