I was anxious to find out if you had included the latest developments on the tower and observatory. You did! 👍

Like it was discussed in this beautiful montage, there is a parallel to be made with the Eiffel tower. One day Montrealer will be as proud of the Tour de Montréal as the Parisian are of the Eiffel tower.

1976: Stadium completed without its tower.

1987: Tower completed and the roof is installed on the stadium.

2018: Tower renovated and its very first occupants moved in.

2024: New observatory with spectacular view of Montréal from a distance.

So well said! I can't help but think of Berlin 1936 and the renovation of that stadium for the 2006 World Cup. One day I hope we properly renovate the stadium and make it as special as the architecture suggests it is, rather than just tear it down.

Cette reconfiguration est une vraie catastrophe. À quoi sert le fuckin rond point?? Les trottoirs méga larges pour qui??? Pour quoi??? Personne marche là!
