Je crois que le résultat pourra être intéressant! Un effet "marbre". Comme un bloc!

Nettement mieux qu'un ciment à la Louis-Bohème, c'est certain.

Un recherche de "polished concrete" donne plein de photos interieur.

Je n'ai pas trouvé aucune photo d'un utilisation exterieur. En plus, avec nos hivers; oh boy! Anyway, j'ai hâte à voir ça aussi!

Why do they put a glass tower in TO and a concrete tower in Montreal is beyond me. It's the same company for god's sake. Imagine a concrete bloc falling from the 48th floor in 40 years time.

Because they know they can cheap out in Montreal due to a lack of competition while in Toronto (at the time) they were competing against 15+ highrise projects of over 40 floors that were in various stages of completion. Imagine if Maple Leaf Square was built now? They'd need something REALLY special since they would be competing against over 40 (!!!) towers of 45 floors or more proposed, approved and under construction. A lack of exterior quality just won't cut it in Toronto's mid to high end market anymore.

How are generic window-wall/spandrel surfaces any more high-end than a proper exterior wall (innately more suitable for a cold climate)? Does anyone have a desire to see CityPlace - or any number of generic Toronto green-glass blobs - transplanted to Montreal?
