  1. More lousy pics of Anne in action nearing Kirkland Station through my filthy windshield (je m’excuse!).
  3. Loto-Québec is uniform at least, and made a statement in its location.
  4. It’s in DDO, I think there’s already a thread.

I like it. It stands out in otherwise-monotone Mile-Ex/Marconi.
  6. Maybe that’s what they were going for? It’s just blah.
  7. Jeez that CIMA building on ND is such a nondescript blob.
  8. Lol I’d love to know where they think they’ve located their development based on this, and why they think it’s a good idea to use this image — on the same page they promote écologie. PS: Marcel-Laurin x Henri-Bourassa is nowhere near autoroutes 13/15/40, though it’s spitting distance from the Bois-Franc REM station that they neglect to mention. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  9. J'ai hâte de voir quel grand projet votre équipe dévoilera prochainement!
  10. Exactly. So if they tell me it’s 63 stories and R is included in the 63, and no 13, the top floor is 64, no? Yes this just silly semantics, but I’m honestly curious about the convention that’s used here in Québec.
  11. R-1-2-3…11-12-14…62-63-64, no? “63 storeys”.
  12. Even though the Sydney Metro opened recently, one could also say the separate Sydney Trains are essentially a metro (though ostensibly an S-Bahn- or RER-style system but with metro-like station spacing in the CBD and inner suburbs). The trains are entirely in tunnels underneath the core, and there are altogether some 28 km of tunnel under the CBD and inner suburbs, with headways as short as two minutes at the six stations of the 6 km City Circle Line tunnel built in the 1920s.
  13. 😂Agree!! Marketing terms and “St-Laurent” design language aside, just “make it work”!
  14. The accurate term that best describes REM is “medium-capacity transit system,” while a looser term could be “light metro.” I agree that “light rail” is simply imprecise in almost every regard. Either way, REM is definitely a metro; the same rolling stock in a six-car, open-gangway configuration in Sydney is a “high-capacity transit system” or “heavy metro,” and also still a metro.
  15. 🤞🏼 the next time they turn it on, it's all magically finished from Centrale to the SdC bridge! 😉
  16. Exactly what I said. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  17. @Rocco When do you sleep? Lol
