Going to spend a few days iin Toronto soon.

 

I need recommandations on a good downtown hotel............in the 4 star range.............well situated downtown....good view...tall building....good price.

I once stayed at the Cambridge Suites Hotel, which is pretty luxurious, at the northeast corner of the financial district (near Richmond/Yonge).

 

Not a tall tower, but you have great views from the gym at the last floor, and possibly from your suite.

I just got back from a couple of days in Toronto. Stayed in the Holiday Inn on Bloor Street West. Payed about $150 a night. Not a 4-star hotel, nor is there much of a view since it surrounded by big buildings, but it is clean, well-situated and affordable. Not to mention it was in a really interesting area: The Annex, and across the street from University of Toronto.

It's the only place I can stay in Toronto too. When you get used to luxury, you can't go back to basic hotels.

 

The one in MTL got complete renovations, it's really nice too.
