    I’m waiting for a tall skyscraper in this city to have an actual cut out like the bottle opener in Shanghai. A cut out could help some properties reach the 200 m limit while still staying within the COS. Honestly, there are very few buildings in this city that have real signature traits. We could probably count them on one hand.

    McIntyre still captivates me as it did when I was a kid on a school field trip up to the lookout. Hopefully the exterior will someday be renovated and ever so slightly brought up to date.

    Again. If it sticks to the CM design for the tower section (which, TBH, remains to be seen), the geometric pattern of the façade will be one of the most interesting in this city. I mean look at that last render! Nothing like it anywhere within 500 km.

    Exactly. If it sticks to the CM design (which, TBH, remains to be seen) and the prefab gets a touch lighter after cleaning, I think people who are bitching now will likely change their minds.

    I’m probably the only one on this forum with this opinion, but the PdJ is a strikingly beautiful representation of the International Style. It’s in the wrong part of town, but that’s a different subject.😄
