  1. The hotel Espresso will still be around 2000 years from now. 😂
  2. I know something but I can't tell you more. The two lots are a package deal.
  3. I will respectfully disagree Time will tell !
  4. From Westcliff's website: There are two lots for sale, north and south. The underground parking is owned by Indigo. Two 200m fit on terrain sud but to respect max density, terrain nord would have to remain a public space/park
  5. a large common podium and two towers with footprints of +/- 8000 sqft works
  6. False. The Westcliff lot can accommodate two 200m towers and they can be residential.
  7. I think most people don't truly appreciate how much extra work it takes to pour concrete in the winter.
  8. Stone facade with a concrete backing
  9. Some cool old-time footage of Habitat 67 starting at the 4:50 mark. Would also recommend watching the whole video!
  10. Is there a thread for the Quadra project going up on Vezina and Decarie? It's not part of Westbury. I saw the prefab samples... the grey is not bad but the brown made my eyes bleed lol
  11. February 6, 2020 - the classic shot
  12. Why is this in the rive sud section ??
  13. There are plans in development... but they respect current height restrictions
  14. No one will build 92m here. It would not be financially viable given the complexity of the project and land cost. It needs to be at least 150 - 160m.
  15. in that case, shortly is very accurate haha
  16. Depends on your definition of shortly
  17. Site work permit and building permit are two different things. Maybe there's something holding up the building permit ???
  18. Nuance: les projets qui sont déjà en cours restent ouverts mais les projets qui n'ont pas encore demarrés ne peuvent pas débuter.
  19. yeah, 135K ft2 is horribly wrong lol... they forgot a "0" also, 2500 residences/units is a bit ambitious but we'll see what happens after the public consultations. i dont think well see anything above 15 floors
  20. Completely agree with your assessment. In regards to buying as an investment property, I would advise against buying in certain neighborhoods (for the reasons you mentioned). That kind of negative cash flow is too heavy a burden for most people/investors. There are, however, plenty of opportunities to buy in areas like St-Michel, Parc Ex, HoMa, as well as most off-island boroughs, that represent great investment potential!
