La ville va sans doute faire le tour du mobilier urbain (et les autres installations) avec un pinceau chaque été, juste avant la période des festivals...un travail perpétuel

 

ou bien...

 

Est-ce que c'était leur intention (créer des toiles à décorer pour les taggeurs) ? “If you can’t beat them, join them” Don't forget, the city endorsed the grafitti project on the Quadrilatère St-Laurent.

 

I expect the new numbered structures on the Promenade to start resembling the Berlin Wall by the time the snow melts in the spring.

Can you imagine though if each one of these had a beautiful mural on them? (commissioned and authorized by the city)

a. taggers would leave them alone.

b. it would add some color and delightful art to an area that is supposedly all about that.

They could also use trompe d'oeil to paint the bases of the new benches so that they look like deserted objects (F1 car, bathtub, surfboard, go-cart, coffin...)

Those cylindrical cut-outs (2 sets of 7) remind me of braille.

Je ne crois pas que les graffiteurs taggeront ces structures. S'ils ne le font pas sur la Place des Arts pourquoi ils le feraient là? Mais les bancs cependant me semblent parfait pour les skatteux!

"Nothing is sacred" pour les taggeurs. Il y a déjà des tags sur les vitrines habitées (le T !) sur la rue Jeanne-Mance.

J'avais déjà lu quelque part que le "Code des graffiteurs / tagueurs" était ainsi :

 

- On ne touche pas à un édifice dans sa première année de construction

- On ne touche pas aux oeuvres existantes

- On ne touche pas aux arbres

- On ne touche pas aux Églises

Selon Bianka du site Facebook du QDS, les bancs sur le Parterre sont que des prototypes pour le moment.

 

Les vitrines habitées (kiosques) sont supposées de rester blanc.
