I dont find them very 2000ish modern. They look straight out of 1950s-1960s le Corbusier ideals. No curves, straight long blocks, huge recessed balconies, very very boring. Oh there's a "passerelle" to get the fanboys excited.

I remember back to the Louis Boheme days on this forum, 28 floors and everyone was ecstatic. Now we get 200m twins in a perfect location and people are finding ways to complain. I miss the old days of optimism and seeing the glass half full around here..

Agreed.  Their advantageous location, in full view from the Place des Festivals, will ensure that millions will notice them years and after years.

Identical towers located in the middle of nowhere   could not have the same effect.
