I'm happy to see that It looks like they gonna show parts of the rock.

However, I kinda wished it would have been more prevalent like the famous Stockholm Metro stations.

Isn't that shotcreet? It's too smooth to be rock that's been blasted.

That's a good observation. I couldn't find the answer but I'm sure I read once that it was rock.

Or maybe it just a very thick paint? 🤷‍♂️ I'm definitely no expert.

C'est probablement de l'enduit, car le défaut avec le roc, c'est que l'eau peut s'y infiltrer et avoir des partie moins stable, donc risque d'effritement. Pour Stockholm c'est probablement de l'enduit peint (pour les partie colorée). Pour la station Édouard-Montpetit, mystère.

Wowwww. I admit I wasn’t expecting these, and they are very revealing.

If you look carefully on that second photo, you can see that there is a hole in the wall of that side tunnel. They've reached the tunnel coming from above ground which means they are almost done digging on that side.
