  1. Maybe the REM B could run under De la commune street in Old montreal and through cité mulitmédia to the Griffintown REM A station. East, It would run elevated or at grade on Ville marie or run elevated or underground on Notre-dame street until it get elevated pass the Jaques Cartier bridge. There's a lot of place to cut and cover on De la commune and Place d'youville, I'm just not certain on William street. The yellow line pass under Bonsecours market so they could create another station there with interchange with the REM B. And maybe create another station on the yellow and orange line at R-
  2. https://financialpost.com/real-estate/does-new-public-transit-boost-home-prices-if-its-underground-the-answer-is-usually-yes "Similarly, a Masters thesis completed in 2018 at Concordia University explored whether proximity to elevated transit stations in Toronto and Vancouver carried a lower price premium than proximity to below-grade transit. The research found that properties listed near the “elevated TTC subway and SkyTrain stations had, on average, lower listing prices while properties located in proximity to underground stations had higher listing prices.” Above-grade rail trans
  5. I make the Tram go on St-Charles which is why it need to go quite a bit west and back in order to meet Kirkland station. I'm not sure I follow you here. Unless google maps is wrong, CF Fairview is clearly to the west of Pointe Claire station. The Tram run on St-Jean for the most part and Cedar park is the closest station to that street. Fair enough. To be frank I don't know much about Laval, my mom always told me to avoid it. So I just kept what was currently envisioned by the CAQ. I'm definitely no expert, but at the same time let's not forget that Le Plateau is the de
  6. I'd like to see a metro line or rem line along cote-vertu or Henri bourassa that goes East-West. I feel like it's an important void. Something that would ultimately replace the Mascouche train or at least a portion of it. Also like three different North/South tramway along des sources, st charles and st-jean boulevard.
  7. Yes, I noticed that, I didn't spent too much time thinking about the name. I'll let that job to the STM PR team.
  8. Thanks! I also did the map with all the currently under studied extensions and the ones that make just too much sense to not do in the near future, if you guys are interested!
  9. I wanted to see what the new ARTM metro map would look like with the REM B so here it is.
  10. Hi, I like maps so I did a map based on the ARTM new signage system and including the transit expansions currently under studied or proposed in Greater Montreal that are the most likely. (the station names and locations could be argued.) I believe we could easily see that in 20years top!
  12. If that highly researched cute colorful chart say so, it must certainly be true.
