I'm curious to know about the parking involved with this building. How can they dig out 3-4 underground levels without causing damage to the existing structure? Or are they simply gonna tear it down and rebuild the facade brick-by-brick?

La base est simplement magnifique! Quelle belle intégration de l'immeuble existant!

 

Oui! J'adore tellement ce concept de construire par-dessus une vieille bâtisse préservée. Ça ne peut pas être plus "Montréal"! J'espère que le projet sur Bleury, assez semblable, finira par aller de l'avant lui aussi!

Ça vient bonifier et "encadrer" un peu plus tout le coin autour du square Victoria. Excellent. C'est vraiment dommage de ne pas voir la Place de la cité internationale lever avec RTA, du moins pour l'instant..... Soupir.

les travaux du bureau de vente avancent rapidement ! Quelques étages de plus serait vraiment cool compte tenu du design. Avec Univers, St-M, Altoria et celui-ci, beaucoup d'action en vue dans ce coin.... si tout se vend bien évidemment.

Perhaps in a similar manner to how The Cathedral shopping mall was built. Remember the entire ground beneath Chirst Church Cathedral was dug up -- it was quite a scene to behold!

Doesn't really answer my question, but that's still really cool! Reminds me of Japan, wonder if existing technology already exists in Montreal.
