    I rather like that we can now very easily “peek behind the curtain,” and see how these towers are actually built; not just macrovision from the street (watching cranes and concrete forms, and eventually exterior walls), but also microvision from all angles (showing us conduits, rebar, passages, pedestals, and more).

    Ce n’est pas un boulevard qui acceuil de la promenade. This ain’t no Paseo del Prado! C’est bien la raison que le REM-B sur une structure aérienne ne serait vraiment pas la fin du monde, mais une telle structure serait tout de même un “cheap-out.”

    Hey, there’s definitely demand here, so why be imaginative if this crap will rent out quickly? It’s along a few very efficient bus lines (68, 468, 470), and thankfully the borough lowered the parking minimums so there’s a hope this won’t add another 99 cars to St-Charles at rush hour.

    Seems it won’t be anything like the pic in the first post, just more of the same blah, red-bricked Pierrefonds banalité.

    It's 15905-15915 boulevard de Pierrefonds, if someone would like to change the title. It appears to be two multiple-unit rental buildings with a common entrance and possibly indoor parking. The foundations have been poured, so I guess we’ll learn more soon.

    The GO OnCorridor RER transformation is the most impressive suburban/regional/commuter rail project in North America, but transit analysts are quite rightly clear in their concerns and criticisms of it, noting dysfunctional project management, questionable decisions, and costly mistakes. That said, Metrolinx, like the Caisse, appears to have a far easier row to hoe when it comes to acquiring partial or total control of prioritized rights-of-way. I’ve repeated this often in the past.
