  1. Who keeps electing that clown Caldwell?
  2. Walk the quiet, winding streets of the Mid Levels in HK and look up, and tell me about “hauteurs” here.
  3. I hope so. The one out front is used mostly by attorneys and jurors (“day visitors”) and is nigh on indispensable.
  4. Wao. De superbes clichés encore grâce à ton plaisir de piloter le drone! Que nous profitons longtemps de tes escapades. 🍻
  5. The melting slush makes what’s left of the Bonaventure look even more decrepit and anachronistic. Can’t wait for [whatever it is that replaces it] replaces it.
  6. Isn’t IdS Honda set to disappear fairly soon?
  7. It’s a larger site than I expected
  8. Merci Pierre! J’y suis passé vendredi durant la tombée de neige et n’ai pu rien voir dépassé le bout du nez.😄
  9. Est-ce que quelqu’un pourrait confirmer que le pieutage ait commencé?
  10. It’s on hold, not canceled. The money is returning quickly. Yes, the proposals will probably be overhauled, but it’s likely that only the most extravagant features will get put on the back burner indefinitely.
  11. No really, it’s still effin impressive. And effin high!
  12. I’m outraged — OUTRAGED I SAY! — that my views of St-Hubert Airport and St-Bruno are forever obstructed!
  13. Apparément oui, pour le moment. The redevelopment project would expand the front of the terminal and change the layout of the roads.
  14. It does look nice and modern, airy and clean — if a bit vague — but these drawings give no consideration to any version of the full “landslide redevelopment” project.
  15. Geez yeah, it looks almost as high as the A30’s Pont Madeleine-Parent over the Beauharnois Canal!!
  16. They also have the climate for open gangways like that. Compare that to the Olympic Village here… We are not exactly the Côte d’Azur!
  17. I hate to be the Negative Nelly, but insofar as we may one day eventually get high speed rail between Montreal and Toronto, I honestly don’t foresee a high speed line touching Laval or extending to Québec. It’s fine and dandy that everybody on this forum (and in transit forums, and rail fans across the East) wear rose-coloured glasses, but the reality is that the traffic between Toronto or Montréal and Québec simply doesn’t justify spending $20-30-40 billion more for HSR Between Montréal and Québec. Once again, we choke when given a figure of $15 billion or $20 billion for a rapid transit line projected to serve 250,000 riders a day, but we are going gaga for high speed rail from Québec City through Montréal to Toronto or Ottawa for several tens of billions of dollars in the hopes of drawing perhaps 10,000 riders a day across the entire line. It simply doesn’t make sense.
  18. Île-aux-Tourtes va ressembler à ça.
  19. Je l'aurais dit autrement, mais t’as pas tort!
  20. As hinted at many times in this thread, Broccolini was the interested buyer. It’s back on the market now.
  21. Merci. For a moment I thought I was misremembering.
