It was discussed many pages ago: from what i got, it seems to represent a First Nations teepee from the architects' intention. I must admit that i personally can't help but seeing a West Coast rain forest evergreen tree, as the height of this pattern isn't compatible with the size of any trees growing on the East Coast.
