It just seems crazy to me that the same firm that designed Link, and that had to jump naked through flaming hoops to get its quirky façade approved for construction on a hidden back street, is perfectly OK with letting the city allow an "artist" to slap a 4-bit graphic over its utterly banal exterior in such a prominent location. Max Frappier even defends it as "art," claiming that the specifications of the building's envelope left no room for architectural creativity.
